Independence, Kentucky City Parks

The following parks are managed and maintained by the City of Independence, KY. The city of Independence is responsible for all maintenance, regulations and permitted uses of these parks. Any shelter reservations for these parks should be made through the parks and recreation department. Special events, use of ball-fields for team practice, etc. are managed through a permit process. The parks in Independence are well maintained and a great place to take your family for an afternoon. The shelters are usually rented in the summer and especially around holidays. They are free for general use but please remember that if someone with a reservation comes, you must clean-up and move in a timely manner.
